And it will happen on that day that his load will be lifted off your shoulders and his yoke will be removed from your neck due to the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).
God was conveying this word to the Israelis about their adversaries, the Assyrians. The Assyrian yoke was intended to be removed via God’s anointing. If you accept it, the Lord has the same promise to free you from slavery as He gave the Jews so many years ago.

But you must first understand the difference between the yoke of God and the yoke of Satan’s servitude. You’re supposed to take my yoke upon you, Jesus says in the eleventh chapter of Matthew.
Because my weight is light and my yoke is gentle. Hence, Jesus said that if you took up His yoke, you would learn about Him and find rest for your soul. Regrettably, Satan has duped many people, and their burden is a yoke of misery and servitude.
The yoke of the Lord is one of love, comprehension, safety, and protection; it is a light yoke that eases the burdens. Is your burden so significant that you have trouble breathing, and it seems to suffocate you to death?

God has established Himself as a yoke-breaker throughout the ages. He observed His followers held in Egyptian servitude, aware that their yoke was not of Him. The Israelites labored in slime pits, producing bricks for Pharaoh. They did it until their fingers were reduced to a nub (according to Josephus).
His followers were not given adequate care, and they lacked independence. They endured a heavy yoke, but God had promised Abraham thousands of years earlier that He would remove it and free these people from slavery.
