In exchange for your blessing, the Devil will offer you whatever deception he can. Accepting the deceit (a worry, fear, or delusion) means giving up your blessing to him.
You are conversing with Satan if you are not conversing with God. Satan wants you to be in this deceptive state. God is constantly speaking to and blessing you. The problem is that you are not listening to God because the devil has taught you to tune God out. Instead, you concentrate on your regular activities and whatever distractions Satan brings.
