We should not belittle ourselves because of our circumstances or situations. God assured us that He would assist us to get out of them because we are more valuable than any other creature. In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus presented another illustration demonstrating how precious we are. “Aren’t two sparrows sold for a shilling? But not one of them will perish outside of your Father’s care. And even the hairs on your head are counted. So don’t be worried; you are worth more than many sparrows”.
It would be best to quit questioning whether you are valuable. God is willing to go to any length for you because you are invaluable in His eyes. 43:4 (Isaiah) “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.” Don’t undervalue yourself for the sake of your status or level.
Prayer – You Are Important
God, I thank you because I am elegantly and wonderfully fashioned. You created wonderful and unusual people, and your glory in my spirit shines forth for all to see.
I’m glad because you made me valuable, and you’re always willing to fight for me. Lord, help me to avoid doing things that will tarnish my attractiveness and diminish my worth. Today, I give you complete authority over everything.
Make today’s unpleasant occurrences attractive for me. I announce today that I am not inferior, that I am worthwhile, and that I will not be diminished by anything. Amen.
